Enrollment & Tuition Terms

Yearly Commitment

Enrollment at The Voices of the Heart Music & Acting Academy requires a full academic year commitment (August – June).

Cancellation Policy

Written notice must be submitted at least 30 days prior to the next billing date to discontinue enrollment. Failure to provide proper notice will result in continued billing for the following cycle.

No Refund Policy

All tuition payments are non-refundable. No refunds, credits, or adjustments will be issued for missed classes due to absences, vacations, illness, or withdrawal.

​

Annual Participation Fee

A mandatory $150 annual participation fee is due upon registration each academic year of enrollment. This fee covers academy programming, recital costs, and yearly performance-related expenses. For musicals the fee is $300 annual participation fee.

Sibling Discount

A 5% sibling discount is available for families enrolling multiple children.

 

Attendance & Performances

Attendance Policy

Regular attendance is essential for student progress, group classes, and participation in all academy programs.

​

Make-Up Classes

The academy is not obligated to provide make-up classes for student absences. Make-up classes may be offered at the discretion of the academy based on availability.

Performances

All students are expected to participate in academy performances, including showcases, community events, musicals, and the end-of-year recital. Performance participation is a core part of the training experience.

Private Lesson Policy & Private Lesson Tuition

• Private lesson tuition includes four (4) lessons per month, reserved for a consistent weekly time slot.

• In months that include a fifth lesson, that additional lesson will be charged separately and billed manually at the student’s regular lesson rate.

Missed Private Lessons

Students who miss a private lesson and provide less than 24 hours notice will forfeit the lesson, and no refund or makeup lesson will be provided. Students who provide at least 24 hours notice may schedule a makeup lesson, subject to the teacher's availability.

 

Legal Waivers

Medical & Liability Release

I hereby confirm that my child is physically and medically able to participate in all activities offered by The Voices of the Heart Music & Acting Academy, including but not limited to singing, acting, movement, dance, and performance training.

I agree to disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or physical limitations that may affect participation.

I understand that participation in performing arts activities carries inherent risks. I voluntarily assume all such risks and release The Voices of the Heart Music & Acting Academy, its owners, instructors, staff, and representatives from any liability for injury, illness, or damages that may occur during classes, rehearsals, performances, or academy-related events.

Media & Photo Release

I grant permission for photographs, video recordings, and audio recordings of my child taken during classes, rehearsals, performances, and academy events to be used by The Voices of the Heart Music & Acting Academy for promotional and educational purposes, including social media, website content, and marketing materials.

I understand that no compensation will be provided and waive any rights to ownership or approval of such media.

By signing below, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to all terms and policies outlined in this enrollment agreement.
